Welcome, friends, to Spirituality for Skeptics. I have a fascinating conversation for you today with medium Tiffany Rice.
0:08
Big moments include the most important things you need to know for 2026 from a spiritual perspective to make the most of the year.
0:16
You're gonna also hear exactly how Tiffany receives information and through what senses during her readings, and this is different from other people that I've interviewed before.
0:26
We're also gonna talk about what you need to understand about your loved ones, whether people or pets, when they cross over, and how to sustain that relationship. It's powerful and heartfelt. Let's dive in.
0:37
[swoosh] Hello, everybody.
0:38
I am thrilled to introduce you today to my guest, Tiffany Rice, and I don't think you know this, Tiffany, but the way that I found you is I think you were liking or interacting with some of the reels that I was sharing with some of my other guests who were also mediums.
0:55
And, you know, those have been getting a lot of traction, and so I'm always, like, checking people out. And sometimes you just kind of move past, but your profile definitely hooked me.
1:04
And so I started watching your videos, and I love the way that... You know, the majority of them are these, I think you were calling them, like, gallery readings, where you've got a group of people.
1:13
You're kind of doing this live reading and demonstration, and it's just so... You're so talented. It's really easy to be hooked in. So I was already kind of all in, 'cause I was like, "She's super legit."
1:23
And then when I started doing my research, 'cause we asked you to be on the show, you said yes, I was like, oh my gosh, she's also, like, the sweetest, most fun-seeming person.
1:31
[laughs] And I just think this is gonna be a really fun episode. So all of that to say, welcome, and thank you for being here. Thank you so much. I'm so excited. I love doing shows and meeting new people.
1:41
And, and after you reached out to me, I scoped you out too, and I was like, "Oh, okay, so this makes sense." So- Yeah... thank you for inviting me on. I'm super happy. Yeah.
1:51
It's my pleasure, and I'm so excited to learn more about the work that you do.
1:56
And I've been having a lot of different conversations with people who are all different types of spiritual practitioners, teachers, probably people a little outside of that as well.
2:05
But I always like to start, because I think everyone has a really different way of defining it, by asking you, how do you describe the work that you do?
2:12
Well, I consider myself a spirit medium, so what that means is I'm someone who communicates with loved ones in spirit. So friends, family, pets come through too. Hmm.
2:22
I'm also someone who's super highly intuitive, which we are all intuitive. Every single one of us has our own intuition, just some of us are tuned in a little bit differently.
2:32
It's like if you had asked me to play a sport, which I love playing sports- Hmm... but I'm that mediocre athlete. I've never been one for the hall of fame or anything like that.
2:42
Love it, but it's just my skill set was always my intuition. [laughs] Yeah.
2:48
When did you start to become both aware and also aware that they were things that not everyone outwardly had or were aware of or were experiencing? Well, I was always the weird kid, right?
3:01
And I would have this vivid imagination. I always had the sense of knowing. Without realizing it was a sense of knowing, I just thought everybody picked up on it. I thought it was something that was so general.
3:10
But when I got older, like, I can remember going to a baseball game and looking at the baseball player, ex-boyfriend, but anyways, thinking to myself, "Oh, he's gonna get- hit a home run," and he would. You know?
3:23
I would have a conversation with someone, and as I was talking to them, I would have visions of people behind them, and I could hear them. And in my mind, I'm thinking, "All right, Tiff, stop with the ADD.
3:35
Focus in on what they're saying. You know, focus in." And not only that, I was always drawn to the holistic field.
3:42
So what I mean by that, growing up, I'd rather go get my cards read, like tarot cards read, rather than go to a party.
3:50
And so as I got a little bit older, still just thinking everybody was this way and just always could pick up on things... Like, I would have friends come over, and they'd talk to me about their boyfriends.
4:01
And I'd say, "Well, it's clearly he's this way because of A, B, and C." And they would stop and say, "Well, how would you know that? Like, you don't know him, but that's true. How would you know?"
4:11
And I'm like, "Well, can't you just pick up on it?" So there would be little bits and pieces of conversation like that. I became a Reiki master teacher, which Reiki is Japanese. It means energy life force, back in 2008.
4:24
And then from there, that opened me up to learn more about energy and energy work, energy healing. So that was kind of the gateway for me.
4:32
And then I ended up taking a class in mediumship, because again, like I mentioned before, I was very into the holistic field.
4:38
So I just wanted to kinda dive in and understand it, and when I did, that's when I was able to put the puzzle pieces together. So I had an instructor, and she said to me, "Okay."
4:50
She paired me up with somebody I didn't know, and she says, "Okay, read each other." And I looked at the girl in front of me, and I'm like, "I don't- I don't know what to say."
4:58
But I went with the very first thoughts that came to my mind, and as I did that, she looked at me, and she started crying. And she said, "Oh my gosh, that's my uncle. What's he saying?"
5:08
'Cause I was giving descriptive words. I was saying, "Red truck, '77, white V-neck T-shirt, gold chain, the name Louis." I remember it, 'cause I've told this story so much, 'cause people wanna know.
5:20
And so I said that to her, and she looks, and she's like, "But I need more. Like, what else is he saying?" And I didn't realize what it was.
5:28
Yes, it was her uncle in spirit that was coming through, but I had to learn how to give an interview process to spirit. Hmm. So I would start asking questions like, "Oh, how are you related?"
5:40
I'd say it in my mind, "How are you related?" And I would come up with the very first answer that they gave me. I would start to ask, like, "What kind of music do you like? Can you show me how you passed?"
5:50
Things of that nature. And as I started to do more readings, 'cause from that class- I was so excited. I was like, "Okay, who wants a reading? I'll give anybody a reading."
6:01
And I, and I went and I used to do house parties and all this stuff. And, and so the more I did, the more I started to really become more confident and learned how to listen to spirit.
6:12
Because you can hear a spirit, but it's really learning to listen how and what they are actually saying to us. I started out there, and I mentioned I was working full time.
6:22
I was doing house parties, which I'd go to people's homes and, and give a group reading, which is called a gallery reading, which is a small group of, like, eight to 10 people.
6:32
And I started to do more and more, and it got to the point where I was doing so many, I had to make that decision on, "Okay,
6:40
I can continue to work full time, but my full-time job is actually limiting me from my true potential." And I'm g- definitely giving you kind of the CliffsNotes version of- Of course... how this went down.
6:51
[laughs] Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm definitely giving you the Cliff... 'cause I also had a aha moment where life was handed to me, and they're like, "What are you gonna do?" And it w- I chose happiness.
7:03
So, like, the in-depth story, what I really did was I had a job for nine years. I got laid off. It was while I was... I lost that job, lost a marriage.
7:13
I had a lot of loss, grieving things that I thought were going to happen in my life that did not. And so when that happened, I got another job, and it was just a job, not a career.
7:25
But while I was in the process of figuring things out, I decided actively, consciously to choose happiness. Someone had asked me, "What is it that you wanna do with your life?" And I'm like, "You know, I'm not sure."
7:39
[laughs] "But I know I wanna be happy." And the only thing that made me happy that I could connect my happiness to was my mediumship work. So I kept the job that I had for a short time,
7:53
started doing the house parties, and then I was doing so many house parties, so many private readings, so many referrals, that I ended up making the decision to go full time with my medium work.
8:05
And so this year will be 13, 13 or 14 years full-time as a spirit medium.
8:11
I ended up having a show called Spirit Connections with Tiffany Rice, and it was just a lo- local cable access show where I'd have a fellow, whether they were mediums or holistic practitioners, would come on and kinda share their gift and share their knowledge, and that was really fun.
8:28
I enjoyed that. And I just kept on doing what I love, doing the private readings and group readings, and it started to grow and grow. And, and now because I chose happiness, my life has totally changed.
8:41
And we talk a lot about finding what our soul purpose is. I know this is my soul purpose, and I know that this is what I'm meant to do. This is what I'm meant to be. I love it. I've met so many people.
8:51
I've traveled to so many different locations. I've helped so many people. And it just continues to grow, because everybody stands united in grief in some shape or form. Mm-hmm.
9:00
Whether it's losing a human or losing a pet, even losing a job or losing a marriage or los- you know, loss. Loss is grief. It's not just for people on the other side. Mm.
9:12
Although I love connecting to the people on the other side. From there, it's been...
9:18
You know, I started to put my gallery readings and certain individual readings on social media, and that wasn't until only a few years ago.
9:27
And so once I started to do that, that's when everything took off, because my videos went viral on TikTok. My videos went viral on Instagram. And so now I'm able to be connected to people all over the world really.
9:42
Like, the other day, I did a phone reading for someone in Italy and then someone in Turkey and then someone in India, and I'm like, "Okay," like- [laughs] Same... "What is going on?" Because I'm a Boston girl.
9:51
I'm from Boston, Massachusetts, so a lot of people would just have me on... It'd be referrals of, like, the next town over, and then I'd get the random, "Oh, my aunt lives in California. Can you give her a reading?"
10:03
And, and so forth. And so right now, I just do phone readings and gallery readings. That's cool. So I don't do- I don't even do Zoom. Yeah. I don't even do Zoom readings. [laughs] That, that's, that's amazing.
10:13
Yeah, and I've, I've worked personally not so many mediums. I am fortunate enough to... You know, I've lost a few pets and my grandparents, but I don't feel like I have a whole lot of loss and grief.
10:23
Oddly, totally different subject, most of my grief is just anticipatory around my dog, you know, and she's about to turn nine- Aw... so it's, like, a constant thing.
10:32
But yeah, I mean, all, all of that to say, like, I have so many questions for you.
10:36
[laughs] So I love, I love the overview, and, and I love to ask people to describe from their perspective how you do the work that you do, right?
10:45
'Cause I've had lots of conversations with different mediums and, you know, I love this idea of the interview process. I haven't heard anyone describe it that way before.
10:53
But if we look at the, the timeline of your life, can you remember the earliest age where you became aware of some of these gifts? I can remember the ages, but again, I didn't realize it was gifts. Mm-hmm.
11:05
I just thought everybody was this way. Right, right. So- Right... even at a really young age, I was connecting to, like, loved ones in spirit and again, having that feeling of...
11:16
Like, I had a grandmother that passed when I was five years old, and I remember going to her funeral and seeing her there and just knowing that she was okay. Yeah.
11:26
That sense of just feeling of love and knowing that she was there. And I didn't necessarily feel that sadness, because in my heart I knew she was right here with us. Mm-hmm.
11:38
And so if I peel back those layers and really think about that, my first experience with loss was around five, six years old, and we were in Colorado at the time and, and I saw my grandmother-
11:52
After she passed and, but again, there wasn't that feeling of sadness. It was like, "It's okay, she's here." Mm-hmm. So- And- You know, it was very comforting to me.
12:01
Yeah, and like, so you're having these experiences a- as a child. Did you share them with anyone, or maybe not, because you're like everyone must see her and, and, and know, like- [laughs] I was normal. Yeah, okay.
12:12
Yeah, I mean, I had moments like where I would have these, like, vivid imagination, I'll call it. My mom's like, "Tiffany, people are gonna think you're strange. Don't say that," [laughs] you know?
12:22
And I'm like, "Okay, Ma, whatever." You- you know, just being a kid. But yes, it wasn't till, like, once I got a little bit older and I finally understood it, that's when I realized, like, oh, okay.
12:34
And even to this day, like, there's certain friends of mine that are highly intuitive that I can have this, like, beautiful flowing conversation with, and they just get it.
12:44
And, and then I have to be reminded that not everybody is like that, so. Yeah. Which is okay too. Yeah. That's why I brought- Absolutely... the, the sport, you know? Like, I played sports, but I was never the best.
12:56
I was just like, "Oh, I enjoy it." But yeah, we all have what we're, you know, in tuned with, so to speak. Yeah.
13:04
So when did you start to realize you were different and not everyone was having the same intuition or experiences that you were having? Later in life. [laughs] I was a late bloomer.
13:16
Yeah, I mean, uh, because again, I would chalk it up like, "Oh, I'm just kind of into this stuff because I like the holistic field," and I can remember, you know, a little bit older, like, I was older.
13:27
It wasn't until I really took the class, and then even at the class I was like, oh, this, that's why it came so easy to me with, with using my own intuition, 'cause I, I just thought, oh.
13:38
But the other people in the class didn't have the same response as I did. They... It was more difficult for them to be able to get into understanding their intuition. And I think that's actually probably at that...
13:51
'Cause I'm thinking back and I'm like, I feel like at that moment, that's when I realized, oh, this kind of stuff isn't as easy for other people as it is for me. Yeah. You know? Yes. It's so interesting.
14:05
So okay, so when you were growing up, were you raised religiously or with any type of spiritual framework? Well, I'm adopted, so m- I was raised Christian.
14:14
Like, my Protestant Christian, my mom was a Sunday school teacher. I had an uncle that was a minister. So we practiced religion, not like, not to a T.
14:25
I mean, we did, we did go to, to church every Sunday for a little while. I just feel like for me it was more internal.
14:34
It was something that I've always had within me, and I'm just the type of person, whether it's because I'm an Aries, I'm not sure, but [laughs] but I'm just the type of person of like focusing in on how I feel and what is right for me.
14:51
So when people ask, you know, does religion play a part in what I do? I always say, "You know, I always appreciate what you believe in. I believe what I believe in, and we all work together."
15:03
So I feel like whether there's a heaven or whether it's another dimension, even when we connect to our loved ones in spirit, I kinda use those terms lightly in the way of
15:14
some of us are taught to pray when we think of our loved ones, and some of us are taught to, to send good intentions. At the end of the day, we're all energy, and our thoughts manifest and our loved ones hear us.
15:28
So however or whatever it takes for us to get out there and get that message out there, it's all aligns the same way. Because again, it's o- our energy. It's what energetically we put out there. Yeah.
15:42
And for religious beliefs or spirituality beliefs or whatever it is that you wanna believe, as long as it's not hurting anybody else,
15:51
go with what makes you feel comfortable, because it's a inside job, and it's a internal job. And, and I think about my family when I first started doing the mediumship work.
16:00
I have some family members, extended family members, that are highly religious, and they, they're a little old school, and they wanted to pass their opinions along, and that's okay.
16:09
They can pass their opinions, and that's exactly what they are, opinions. That's kinda where I get my ideas of you believe what you believe, I believe what I believe.
16:17
As long as nobody's hurting anybody, then that's, that's all it takes. That's all... That's what we need for our high- highest and greatest good. Like, we put our energy out there for our highest and greatest good. Yeah.
16:27
That's a great way of looking at it. And so, yeah, maybe in, like, the wider family, you have had some resistance or pushback, but it sounds like your immediate family was supportive overall. Absolutely.
16:39
Everybody, everybody is absolutely supportive of everything that I do, and I mean, now everyone's used to it. I mean, I would get the [laughs] some family members who didn't get it.
16:49
They're like, "Oh, what are you doing, reading someone's palms this weekend?" Or, you know, and- Yeah... and, uh, even at the full-time job that I had before they laid me off, I remember my boss...
16:59
It was a HVAC company, and I remember my boss would come over to my desk and he's like, "Oh, what are you gonna do?" 'Cause I do a lot with paranormal- Mm-hmm... as well. I love the paranormal.
17:09
So he's like, "Are you gonna go hunt ghosts this weekend?" And it used to bother me, and then I heard, my friend said to me, she goes, "You know what, Tiff? Just own it. Just own it." And I'm like, huh.
17:20
That stuck with me. So Friday afternoon, he comes walking on over to my desk. He goes, "What are you gonna do this weekend, hunt ghosts?" Like, what he would say. Like, he thought it w- he was funny.
17:29
And I was like, "Well, what are you gonna do, build a shed?" And he's like, "Huh. Well, yeah, I am." And I'm like, "Awesome. That's what you like to do." And he goes, "Yeah."
17:36
I go, "Well, I like doing what I like to do, so I'm happy that you get to enjoy what you like to do, 'cause I get to enjoy what I like to do too. So I hope you have a great weekend."
17:44
Yeah, and I think with this type of topic, it's- Often times that people never get there, and that's okay too. It's not gonna be, you know, it's not gonna be for everyone.
17:53
So what's really interesting is, like, a lot of the other psychics, mediums, things like that, that I've, uh, spoken to or people that I've even worked with, it's kind of like they have this spontaneous awakening or it's like this big experience where their gifts start to come online.
18:10
But it kinda sounds like yours were just always there, and you just slowly became- Yeah... aware of what they actually meant. So you never really had, from what I'm gathering, an issue trusting what you received.
18:21
You're just like... M- maybe in the class, you, you know, when you're actually trying, you're like, "I don't know what to do," but it sounds like you moved through that pretty quickly.
18:28
So is that kind of accurate to say, they were just always there? Well, I'm glad that you put it that way, yes, because it's funny that you say that, 'cause I... Same.
18:36
Like, my certain friends of mine that I've had, that are really great, well-known mediums, they're like, "I got into a car accident, and then it, it triggered," which a lot of times big traumatic events can trigger such, you know, self-awareness.
18:50
But I feel like I've always had the self-awareness. I mean... I mean, maybe it could be, I was, I was adopted, so I was a preemie. I was born two months early. Maybe that has something to do with it.
19:01
[laughs] I was always the weird kid, who knows? But yes, I've always been good with like, like I mentioned before, trusting myself and just knowing who I was at a very early, young age.
19:12
Earth is a school, and we're constantly learning, but I didn't have to go through a lot to be able to understand who I was. Hmm. Yeah. Yeah. I love hearing- Yeah...
19:23
how this really happens in different ways for different people. So you do mostly the mediumship work, but you also do kind of like the psychic intuitive work.
19:34
So I'm curious, when you're doing that work, I've, I've heard you talk about kind of, like, the sensing, the knowing, the seeing, the hearing. Like, how does the information come to you?
19:43
And then when you're doing psychic work or mediumship work, is it different? Like, I'd, I'd love to hear, yeah, how all of it works actually for you. I feel like they kinda go hand-in-hand.
19:56
The thing with mediumship is being able to really connect to spirit. And so for me, I would say it even takes a little bit... Again, I'm talking personally for myself.
20:08
It takes me a little bit more energy for the mediumship, because I wanna be able to have them give me... It's always the information that they n- that you're gonna need to hear, not what you want.
20:17
But I want that information to be as detailed as possible. I always say it's like a puzzle. We're gonna put a puzzle together.
20:25
They're gonna supply me with the puzzle pieces, meaning your loved ones and spirit, and then I'm going to give the person that's sitting across from me that information, and they're gonna piece it together.
20:37
But I wanna be able to give them a name. So I will ask, like, "Okay, I'm gonna need a name. If you can give me a name, that's great."
20:44
When I hear names, it's almost as if they drive by me going 100 miles an hour, yelling out the window. So like today, it was funny.
20:51
[laughs] I was talking to someone, and I was bringing his mom through, and I go, "It's weird. I'm getting the name Bugs, like Bugs or Bugsy." And he's like, "Hmm." He goes, "Well, no. I mean, her nickname's Bunny."
21:04
And I thought, "Oh, okay. So Bugsy and Bunny, maybe that's it." And then all of a sudden, it clicked, and I said, "Wait. Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny." [laughs] And he's like, "Oh, my gosh. Bugs Bunny. We get it now." Right?
21:17
So that's, like, a puzzle piece, but at the time, we were like, "Oh, okay. We'll see." You know? So I will hear names. Sometimes they will show me things in my mind's eye.
21:27
So when I say it's in my mind's eye, it really is. It's almost like a memory. So if I said, "Nicole, what does your house look like?" Think of what your house looks like.
21:35
I'm sure you'd be able to give yourself a layout of your house, right? And if I asked, "Oh, what side is your driveway on?" you could tell me what side. So the... You're getting a mental picture in your mind.
21:47
That's how it comes to me. Now, if it's around lunchtime or dinner time or when I'm hungry, a lot of times spirit will show me.
21:56
I'll either taste a really good recipe, something that they like to eat, or if they wore a certain cologne or fragrance, smoker. Sometimes I can smell things.
22:06
So spirit is always in control, and it's exactly what it is that they wanna show me. Animals. Animals, when they come through in spirit... I just...
22:14
Actually, my last reading before this, [laughs] someone's dog had passed, so I was bringing up information of, you know, what they looked like, what she was holding onto, what she kept, what was going on at the time of the passing, the age, the month that they passed, like, all these detailed information, because animals do not speak, but they show us.
22:36
And again, going back to when I said a sense of knowing, like when I get...
22:39
When animals try to show me a month, it'll be like, if it's summer, I'll feel heat, and then I get in my mind of like, "Okay, is this June, July, August? What could it be?" And then I go with what my first thought is. So
22:53
when it's mediumship, it is a little bit more intricate. When it's intuitive, people are like, "What's going on in my relationship?" It's, it's almost like wildfire, like boom, boom, boom. Here we go.
23:03
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. You know? Like, I've had people contact me about relationships, court cases, missing person cases. I've worked with detectives. I've worked with missing pets.
23:12
All different things, but yes, usually it's career, relationship, where my life is going when it comes to the intuitive/psychic questions. But I like calling them intuitive readings instead of psychic readings. Yeah.
23:25
To- Just I like what it sounds like. Yeah. You know what I mean? Oh, totally. So, like, you're basically using all of your senses in your mediumship. Yeah.
23:34
With the intuitive, is it more knowing, or is it still kind of that same process of using all the senses? I'm just curious at how, how it's different for you, if it is.
23:44
I mean, technically my senses are open, but it's always just that- Quick intuitive thought, that quick intuitive hit, you know?
23:52
Because again, I'll see things in my mind's eye or I'll hear things, so it's, it's very similar. It's very similar.
24:00
But mediumship, people come in, I feel, even though I say, "Leave your expectations at the door," people come in with a certain expectation because they... Very rarely will I get a message like that.
24:12
People are like, "I'm coming to you." And they don't tell me who, 'cause I don't ask them, but they come in with
24:19
someone or something that they want to know more about, which can be a little bit more intricate rather than just the intuitive hits- Yeah... of, "Hey, do you think this guy I'm dating is a good guy?" You know?
24:31
[laughs] Yeah, yeah. It's so- And you know, one thing... yeah... you bring up, yes. I, I have oracle cards, but even if you use the cards, like, cards are just physical evidence, whereas, like...
24:43
'Cause people say, "Well, can you do, can you pull cards?" And I'm like, "Well, I can," and I've done this before where I've given them an intuitive reading, and then they're like, "Well, can we pull cards?"
24:52
So we'll pull cards after the intuitive reading, and the cards align with exactly what it is that I said. So it's all that energy. Goes back to what I was talking about, we're all energy.
25:02
It's all the energy that we put out there. Yeah. Yeah. So. I always just love hearing the difference in ways that people work. So I wanna go back to- Right...
25:10
this last that you took, 'cause maybe this is, like, one moment in your life where you were looking for, you know, the connection or the guidance, and you were, like, putting pressure on it or something, and it was, like, a little bit harder to decipher.
25:23
I don't know. That was kind of my interpretation of the story.
25:25
But as someone who, and I'm gonna speak for many listeners when I say this as well, who wishes I could hear my intuition more loudly in the moment, I've had this conversation with a bunch of people on this show, I, and I'd love your perspective.
25:40
Okay, so to give you a little bit of background, I'm very proud of everything I've created in my life. I built and sold multiple businesses.
25:48
I'm at a great place in my life where, you know, this is, the show is my passion project, and I'm, like, just open to whatever else comes through, but there's really- Yeah...
25:56
no pressure, and I, you know, travel all the time, and, like, I have really this great life. And so when I look back on what I've done, I'm like, there was clearly guidance that was happening there.
26:07
But [laughs] when I, like, am in the moment, and I'm like, "Okay, intuition, what are you telling me?" It is dead silent. [laughs] So I don't know. Why do you think people struggle to hear it?
26:21
I, I don't know if you're answering- And I don't know if everyone has the hindsight thing like I have, but anyway. I have your answer. Yes. Okay. Yes. Tell me. [laughs] I'm glad that you asked that, right?
26:28
I'm not gonna sit here and say, "I, I, I know exactly what to do, and I listen to my intuition all the time." No. You know why? Because our ego gets in the way, right?
26:39
When I give someone a reading, I have to take my ego out, like literally put it aside and just go with the very first things. Why is it that I get readings? Because it's an ego thing, right? I'm that girl.
26:54
"Hey, do you think the guy's into me?" I'm that girl, okay? I will phone a friend and say, "Can you give me a quick reading?" And they're like, "How is it?"
27:02
Because I've been known to be able to, like, pinpoint, "Oh, you're gonna meet this guy in two years, and you're gonna get married, and this is what he's gonna do."
27:12
I've told people, "Hey, for some reason I just keep on seeing France. You're gonna meet him on top, like, a roof deck. His name is Chris. He's gonna be 6'4," and, like, brought up, like, distinct information.
27:24
I've had them come back and say, "You were right." Like, "I met this guy." Pregnancies, same thing. Careers, same things. But for me, help, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Like, it's, it's- Makes sense... because our ego.
27:35
So I think with you, like, even though you have h- you have so many amazing accomplishments and success, it's our little ego. Our ego brings in, like, the self-doubt or the, what if this doesn't work, right?
27:48
Does this make sense for you? Oh, yeah. Can you relate to that? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah.
27:53
And it's funny 'cause I shared this as well before, but it's like, and I think a lot of people do this, which is why I'm bringing it up again, it's like I can look at only...
28:01
The only evidence I have of how my life has gone is in the things that haven't worked. It's like I'm really good at doing that versus looking at all the things that have, right?
28:09
'Cause I'm in a place in my life, right, and I have a spiritual mentor that I work with, and I probably drive her crazy 'cause I ask her the same things, like, a million times.
28:16
But I'm at this place in my life where I've taken a bunch of time off, and now I've started this show, but I'm also, like, a really driven, motivated business person, but I don't wanna do anything like I've ever done it before.
28:28
Yeah.
28:28
And I'm just like, "I have no idea," and I'm too young to be retired, and I'm like, "I have no idea where my life is going," so it's just this constant pressure [laughs] to try to figure it out, and nothing's coming.
28:39
Well, and you're living. Yes, but here's the thing. Sometimes the e- the hardest thing to do is surrender. Yeah. And that's what you're being called to do, right? It's so annoying.
28:49
And so one thing I always say, "I surrender, and I allow the universe to provide me with what I need for my highest and greatest good." Yeah. Right?
28:56
And I sometimes need a reminder of that too when I'm like, "Is this guy into me? He hasn't called me in two months." And my friends are like, "Mm." My friends that aren't intuitive, they're like, "Common sense, Tiff."
29:08
And I'm like, "I don't know. He's busy." [laughs] You know, like. [laughs] Yeah, where we just, I've- Right? That's the ego side coming in... you know, we all have messages even 'cause it's what we want. Yeah, yeah.
29:17
[laughs] I've done that as well. Right, right. I'm like, "Mm, I don't know." But, um, [laughs] but, but yeah, so i- if we just allow ourself to surrender, we're always gonna be taken care of.
29:29
We have to trust the process, which I hate it when people say that to me 'cause I'm like, "Okay, cool. I'll trust the process, but can you just tell me when?"
29:35
Like, if you're gonna say, "Tiff, two years in May," I'd say, "Oh, okay. Now I can relax a little bit." Mm-hmm. You know?
29:42
With you, I feel like it's just you allowing your creativity, and maybe you haven't had that moment to be as creative as you'd like because you've had to always have some sort of structure.
29:53
So you're using a total other side of you where you're thinking, "Is it safe for me to do this?" But you also have to remember, you're resourceful enough.
30:03
And girl, I'm telling you, 2026, we are going into Chinese astrology Horse year. Take action. If I could put a word next to 2026, it's alignment. We're leaving 2025, which is a Snake year.
30:16
It's also a number nine year, so it's endings, shedding, letting go, things that no longer serve.
30:23
Like, there's probably been a lot of grief that you've probably experienced a lot, probably resistance of not wanting to let th- go of certain things. But this year, it's like, "Nope, time to go."
30:32
2026 is a number one Horse year, so it's go, go, go, take action, and allow yourself to fully align with what is meant for you, because it is happening. So we can't have control all the time of a timeframe.
30:51
Us as humans, we're just like, "We need to know."
30:53
Just like I said, I'm like, "Nicole, tell me in two years in May, the love of my life is gonna come into my world, and everything's gonna be fine, you know, and I'll be fine." But that's not how it works. Yeah.
31:03
So the easiest way to get to be where you want to be, 'cause you've already... You're already there anyways, but just so you can experience it in your time, is allowing yourself to surrender. I know.
31:14
Don't love that answer. [laughs] I know. But like, I hear you. I hear you. [laughs] I hate that. It's just like- I hear you... when people say to me, "Oh, when you stop looking, he'll show up." Oh, really? It's...
31:26
[laughs] Okay. I'm, I'm not getting any younger, so- [laughs]... you know? I feel you. I feel you. I'm happily alone in life right now. Yeah.
31:34
[laughs] So, so actually, you know, and I don't know if it's just 'cause I'm paying more attention now, but I feel like this particular year I've been really hearing people juxtapose 2025, 2026, and how different they're gonna be, and all that stuff.
31:49
I don't know if they're... If it's because of the meanings of those years or what happened, but what else might be helpful for people to know about 2026, since this will be airing early in the year? Yes. [laughs] Okay.
32:00
So, you know, if you guys have experienced it, a lot of my intuitive readings we talked about, I've had a lot of people say, "I've been married for 30 years. We got divorced. I met my soulmate.
32:10
I've been with my company for 30 years. They fired me, and now I'm doing my own thing." But everybody is getting closer to their happiness.
32:18
So with 2026, if we allow to just surrender in 2025, we might have even felt defeated in 2025, but the energy surrounding 2026 is exactly that. High impact energy.
32:32
Things that you may have been thinking about, it's a good time to start taking action. And, you know, think of the horse. The freedom is yours.
32:39
Like, it's about being unbridled and majestic all in the same way, and really having that confidence.
32:47
'Cause you no longer have certain things that possibly, I'm gonna use this lightly, could have been holding you back in some shape or form. And I mean that in the most gentle possible way I can.
32:57
That's why when we talk about the shedding that happened in 2025, it was something that needed to happen in order for you to be better aligned with what is happening now in 2026.
33:09
So do not be afraid or doubt yourself on taking action on what you want, as long as it's for your highest and greatest good.
33:18
And that's something you can wake up every day and just say, "Okay, I'm setting my intentions for my highest and greatest good today." Yeah.
33:25
You know, the universe is gonna provide me with what I need for my highest and greatest good. People talk to me about money, having enough money, and it's my money flows where my energy goes.
33:37
To have that positive energy, and- and also thinking too, like, if- if we're talking about work stuff, 'cause this has personally happened to me, where there's been big things that I thought I was going to get or been left out of, and so I thought, like, "Okay, I don't know why I'm being left out.
33:54
I don't know why this is happening." But it's always works this way. Whatever misses me, there's always something bigger and better and more aligned that I end up getting. Yeah.
34:06
So I don't know if that's happened to you, Nicole. Oh, yeah. I feel like it has. You know? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
34:10
I can remember a couple of my colleagues were do- they were doing an event at a location that I introduced them to, and it was, like, this big, huge event, and I saw it on social media.
34:21
I wasn't included in it, and my ego got in the way. It was like, "Wait, why wouldn't you include me? 'Cause that event looks like it would be good if I was included." You know? I didn't say it to them, but I was, like,
34:33
having this internal struggle, and- and I had to remind myself, "Okay, whatever. The universe is just showing me that maybe I'm supposed to be growing out of this, or, you know, there's something better."
34:43
And then literally a week later, I ended up getting asked to do design work and create my own collection with a company called Dune Jewelry, which is a jewelry company, and it's all about experiences.
34:57
So they have a sandbank of 5,000 different pieces of sand from all over the world. And not pieces of sand. Well, I mean, they have sand. [laughs] It sounded funny what I just said. [laughs] But it's a sandbank.
35:07
So basically, I designed a cardinal, because cardinals remind us of our loved ones in spirit.
35:14
I designed a third eye chakra, and then I have a wing, an angel wing, and engraved it says, "We are never truly alone," which is my trademark. Mm.
35:23
So I made a really good connection with Dune Jewelry, which I continue to work with them and design more pieces with them, and it's a whole spiritual collection, and that's something that is continuation, and it's...
35:34
It was definitely different from the event that I was hurt about, that I didn't get to be part of, but it brought me and it brought my voice into a whole new different group of people that never heard of me before, and I was able to connect with them on such a higher level of connection, and it was just...
35:53
It was a really great experience, so- Yeah, I think that's what- That's what I'll say.
35:57
Yeah, and I think it's helpful for anyone listening to reflect on those times where it felt like everything was falling apart, or you were just disappointed that something didn't work out, and it turned out to be the best thing possible.
36:11
I can think of so many of those experiences. That's good. Yeah, yeah. That's amazing. And I love that you said 2026 is about action, 'cause that's my- that's my thing.
36:21
I really struggle with, like [laughs] the surrender piece, and the trust, and all this stuff. I'm like- Yeah... what can I do? Get me the results. I- I need to go, go work. So yeah, I'm excited to- Yes...
36:31
to hear that part of it. So just a couple of other questions for you. How do you handle skeptics of your work?
36:38
I think from what I've seen, I mean, most people are positive, you know, but we all have trolls, you know, [laughs] and skeptics and stuff. Yeah. So how do you handle that? Plenty of them. Yeah. Read my comments.
36:49
Read my comments on my [laughs] on my viral videos that...
36:52
So how I handle them is, uh, you know, I- I tell them, 'cause sometimes people will bring people to my shows, and they'll just sit there like this, and then I'm like, "Okay." And I'll say, "You know, I'm- I'm just...
37:04
I'm not here to, you know, make things up. I- I'm just here to tell you what I'm being told, and that's it. And so I'll give you the information, and you do what you want with it."
37:15
So that's if somebody's, like, in person with me, and they're just saying, "No, no, no." 'Cause that's happened, where I was giving somebody... I was bringing...
37:23
Someone brought her husband to a- a gallery event, and I said, "Oh, you- you know, I'm getting a brother connection.
37:28
His name is Joe, and he's, he did wrestling, and I'm just seeing, like, WWE wrestling," or I don't know what it's called now. But it was like [laughs] w- wrestling, all this stuff. And he was like, "No, no, no."
37:39
And I was like, "Okay, we'll just hold onto that information." After the, after the gallery reading, she said... She came over to me and she said to me, "I just want you to know everything makes sense.
37:50
Everything makes sense, but my husband just wasn't ready to hear it yet." That's why I say they'll get there when they get there. That was a real time. When people are trolls online, I don't really engage with that.
38:01
I mean, it's a choice, right? We all have a choice, and I'm not here to prove anything to anyone. Either- either you want the reading or you don't. 'Cause people will say, "Read me now," and I'm like, "Oh, wait a minute.
38:13
Okay, so would you love to donate an hour of your workday and whatever it is that you do for a job, and just help me with whatever I needed? Like-" Yeah. "Oh, like, you're an accountant? Cool.
38:24
Can you just do my taxes for free, 'cause I don't believe that you're an accountant?" Like... [laughs] Yeah. Yeah. And then they stop. They don't... [laughs] Then they'll come back after that, 'cause I'm like, "Well..."
38:34
I'm like, g- "You gotta really think about, like... Think about things before you say things." Or if somebody starts throwing Bible verses, like, that's a... I mean, whatever.
38:43
Like, we all have a choice on whether or not to engage or not, and it's... I'm not meant to be everybody's teacher. I'm not meant to be a teacher.
38:52
I'm just meant to be who I am, and I enjoy doing what I do, which is offering a different healing modality for people in grief. Hm. You know? Some people may choose
39:04
a substance, like alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, or whatever. Uh, you know, and I'm not judging people that do that. But,
39:13
you know, it just goes to show you each individual is just so different on how they choose to heal and how they process emotions. You know, if people need to...
39:23
They had a tough work day, they're gonna have a couple drinks 'cause it makes them feel good, okay, go do that. I'm not gonna be the- the drink police, you know? I'm not gonna [laughs] be like, "Hey," or what have you.
39:36
Like, it's just... It's something where it's...
39:38
You know, I just wish people had a little bit more self-awareness and mindfulness, and understand that not everybody's going to feel comfort the same way or handle their grief the same way. Yeah. So. Yeah. Good. Yeah.
39:53
I don't know if that answered the question right, but I hope that- Yeah, yeah. I mean, you're not- you're not here to convince anyone to prove anything to anybody. Yeah.
39:59
And I think you've probably learned at this point if you try to push back on, especially people who just like to troll, they just wanna argument. Yeah. Um, it's not like you're gonna ever turn them around.
40:08
But I would recommend, you know, if people are asking you for a reading, be like, "Here's my link to schedule." [laughs] Yes. You know? Oh, yeah. And that's exactly what they say. You can pay with things like this.
40:17
And then they'll be quiet. Yeah. [laughs] Yes. Yeah. Oh, everybody wants a free reading too. Yeah, totally. I- Everybody wants a free reading... I can imagine. And I'm like- Yeah. Well, 'cause I...
40:28
It's also you have to think about it 'cause it's a creative career, right? So it's like would you just show up to The Nutcracker or to, like, a football game and- and just expect just to go in and watch? Mm-hmm. No.
40:43
Yeah. Or that's a whole other thing. People will say, "Why do you charge for your readings?" Yeah. And then I'll- I'll turn it on to, like, the- the pro athletes, right? Like, they're- they're playing a game.
40:55
That's something that they're so good at.
40:57
You know, they're true athletes, but they still have to put a roof over their head and feed their families, and because they are just magnificent at, like, their body, and their strategy, and so forth, and they're completely, like, amazing athletes, like, they still get paid.
41:14
Mm-hmm. You know? I feel that anybody that... Like, what I do is I'm- I'm putting so much of my life out there to help other people and, you know, provide that level of- of service, and it is exhausting.
41:31
It can be very draining. That's why a lot of mediums, when you try to book with them, a lot of them are booked out for, like, the following year, 'cause we're- Yeah... we can only do so many a day or a week.
41:41
It's not a 9:00 to 5:00 job. Mm-hmm. So I don't think people truly understand that either. And so when we talk about the free readings, they just think,
41:51
like, "Oh, yeah, just give me a free reading," or just do, like, "Why would you charge?" And it's like, well- Do- do you like to work for free? I'm- I'm confused.
41:58
[laughs] Yeah Yeah, I, I guess it is them kind of assuming that this isn't your job, you know? Like, that you must do something else. I don't, I don't know. I don't know. I, you know, I was a...
42:08
My, my last company w- that I sold, it was a business coaching company, and you know, I had people want free from me all the time, from our clients all the time, and yeah, I feel like I've had this conversation a million times, but particularly in things that are, like, you know, intangible, you know?
42:22
It's, it, it's conversation, it's reading, it's, it's... Yeah, it's not like you're... I don't know. It's just, it's crazy to me. I always respect people's time and, and want to pay people. Right.
42:33
So I encourage that from others. [laughs] So I've like two, two more questions for you.
42:39
If you can pinpoint one thing, and if it's okay if you can't, but what has been the most unbelievable or remarkable thing that's happened to you spiritually? Ooh. Hmm.
42:52
There's been a lot, and it's brought me to meet so many people, but the spiritual aspect of things is I've realized that even though we pass, we aren't truly gone. Mm-hmm.
43:07
And it's not because we're stuck in an alternate universe. It's not anything to do th- with that. But it brought me closer to understanding energy more. And so I'm trying to think of, like, certain aha moments of...
43:22
I mean, of course, signs. I get signs all the time, but spiritually, it's, it's brought me to that
43:30
inner peace of knowing that, you know, like I said, we're never truly alone, because we continue to walk along with our loved ones, and it's just learning to love them in a different way. And so understanding that,
43:45
I see life and death a little bit different. I've also... It brought me closer to really, really... I, I lost my mom in 2025. Yeah. My dad's been gone since 1999. Mom passed in 2025. Lost my dog in 2025, one of my dogs.
44:01
You know, it just, it brought me to really realize, like, it's just, again, learning to love them in a different way, and that they're going to continue to show up exactly the way that we want.
44:12
We just have to ask for the signs. Mm-hmm. And I've chosen to really allow myself to do some living and not focus all the time on death, because with this type of career, it is truly about death 24/7, [laughs] you know?
44:29
And, and the one thing I learned about doing readings is that the most important thing is the relationships you keep with people and pets while they are here with us. Hmm.
44:40
And the sooner we figure that out, the easier it is for us to really start to enjoy our lives. Like, enjoy that plate of pasta that you wanna have. Go... If you wanna go to Paris, go to Paris.
44:52
See the Eiffel Tower if that's what you want, you know? Like, there's no point in waiting for a rainy day anymore. That's, like, gone and out the window.
45:00
So, you know, again, what better year than 2026 to be able to take action? But really focus in on living your life. Do not wait. Do not wait. That's, that's a lesson that I learned after so much loss, especially in 2025.
45:16
And even though I know that they're here with us, I know that, you know, I'm learning to love my mom in a different way, I'm learning to see the signs, but that's the one thing.
45:25
Like, I think about it, and I'm like, I've, I've born and raised in Boston, and I've been here for all of my life, and I'm, I've traveled a ton, but I've, I've always been here, and I've always thought losing my dad at such a young age, I thought, "Oh, I have to stay close to home because of my mom.
45:42
I don't wanna leave my mom." And I do have a sister, so she's here, but still, like, you always kinda have this guilt of, like, not wanting to do stuff because you wanna make sure everyone else around you is, is okay.
45:54
And, and now I look back, and I'm a lot older now, and I think it's still, there's still time for me to get out there and do more things.
46:03
But also, I wish at, at a younger age I had that momentum to, like, get up and maybe move to a different state for a few years just to experience it, you know? Yeah.
46:14
Again, there's still time, but I'm just saying, like, we always think we have time, and that's kind of like a, a crazy joke that we're playing on ourselves.
46:23
So we just never know what's gonna happen tomorrow or the next week or, or what have you. And, and knowing what I know now in my, through my readings, don't wait. Just do. Yeah. You know? And- That's great advice...
46:36
not to sound like the Nike slogan, but [laughs] but it really is. Like, that's why I'm, I'm welcoming 2026 with open arms, because I was also born the Year of the Horse, so it's like, okay, this is it. This is the time.
46:51
I have a lot of hope and aspirations for 2026 for this alignment, so. You know, so guys, if you're listening, the one thing that I'll recommend is, is don't put it off for a rainy day. Do it now. Do it now.
47:05
So s- connecting spiritually to, to the real-life time, that's one thing. Sorry for that, like, 20-minute- No... answer. [laughs] I think it, I think it's a great way. I... It's great advice.
47:16
The older I get, the faster time goes. I don't understand how we're talking about 2026 when it was just 2018 a few minutes ago, you know? [laughs] Yes. So, like, [laughs] I don't know.
47:26
I think we blacked out during COVID. I think everybody blacked out for, like- Yeah... the last five years, so that's- Yeah. Yeah... it's actually cultural at this point. It's...
47:34
[laughs] Well, you know, I think we, we always... I, I, I think to your point, we always overestimate how much time is available.
47:42
So, like this year, for example, I took my mom to Italy for a few weeks and kind of thinking, 'cause I was going, I take my dog to hike in the Alps pretty much every year, and so, you know, I was, like, thinking, I was like, "Well, I could take my mom to Italy or, you know, but I really wanna do a trip to the Alps."
47:58
And then I was like I mean, my mom is 68. I'm like, "I could do it next year." But then I was like, "No, just do both." Like, do both. Like, I'm gonna, I'm gonna do both- Both... because you just don't- Love it...
48:09
you just don't know. So we did, and it was like the best time ever. Exactly. So, [laughs] I love that. Yeah. Yeah. Well- Thank you for sharing that with me. Yeah. I love that. Like, that's the thing. You know what?
48:20
I'm just gonna do it. Well, same. I mean, and, and actually, right now I'm planning a trip for my dog. She's like the most spoiled dog, but we're to take her to Hawaii. Like, so I, 'cause I'm like- Yes...
48:31
I'm like, "Ugh." So I've, I traveled a lot in 2025. I'm like going away for like three weeks, a month in February. I'm like, that seems like a lot of work. It's a lot of stress. It's a lot of paperwork to go to Hawaii.
48:42
And then I'm like, and I'm like, it'd be so much more convenient to stay home. And then I'm like, you know what? She's about to turn nine years old. I wanna have every experience possible with her. So like- Gosh...
48:51
let's go, let's go do it. So she's going to Hawaii. [laughs] Yes. I love that. Yeah. [laughs] It's so funny because I had on my bucket list for 2025 Hawaii and Italy, and 'cause I've never been to Italy.
49:04
That's a place that I really wanna go to. I can make all the rec- I've been three times. I can make all the recommendations. [laughs] Yeah. I, so 2026 was my year to do it, but I did... It was funny.
49:16
Um, a friend of my, a friend of a friend was like, "Oh, so and so is going to Hawaii, and she has, she has a place for you to stay. She's going next week. Do you wanna go?" And I'm like, "That's my ticket."
49:26
And I literally closed my eyes, [laughs] hit the, hit the purchase flight, and I went to Hawaii for six days. So that's exactly what I'm talking about.
49:35
And I love that idea that I'm, again, I'm happy you were like, "Hey, my mom's 68, and I want to do this, but I wanted the, to do that. But I ended up doing both, and, and now I have no regrets." Yeah. So. Yeah.
49:47
That's, it's such, it's such good advice. I mean, I just, I have a slight obsession with time and timelines, like probably to an unhealthy extent, but, um, but- Oh, we all do. Yeah. [laughs] Yes. So. Yes, we all do.
50:01
Yeah. So I just wanna say thank you so much. I feel like I could talk to you forever. I feel like you're an old friend, and this is the first time we've actually had a conversation- Yes... outside of email.
50:10
So I'm super grateful. Yes. You are just so likable and also so wise, and just much gratitude for being here with me, for sharing your wisdom, and just for being you. Thank you. Thank you so much. Appreciate you.
